We are delighted to announce that 11 groups have been successful in being awarded funding under our 2008 Community Development Small Scale Grants Scheme. This is the fifth year of the hugely popular scheme which has proved very successful in allowing groups to implement social inclusion projects at a local level throughout the County.

We wish all the groups the very best in the implementation of their projects over the next number of months as they continue to promote social inclusion. For those unsuccessful groups we have pointed many in the direction of alternative funding sources. Once again the Small Scale Grants Scheme has allowed us to support local groups to do their bit in tackling social exclusion right across the County. In the next edition of the newsletter we will have photos and interviews with some of the successful projects.
